P&C Day on 21 May is the time to publicly thank hardworking P&C members for the tireless work they do each year to improve educational facilities, resources and student outcomes in Queensland state schools. P&C Day is held during National Volunteer Week, the best time to celebrate their inspiring efforts!
Some ideas for your school community might be a special assembly to present certificates, a thank-you video from the Principal or students, a shout-out on social media for all the volunteer work they do around the school, or coffee and sweet treats for volunteers! Whatever you decide, taking a moment to thank your amazing volunteers will be appreciated!
Join us for lunch to celebrate
This year we are delighted to be hosting the inaugural P&C Day celebration luncheon dedicated to our most deserving volunteers. The first event will be hosted by Bray Park State High School with the view to extending these celebration lunches throughout the state next year.
P&Cs are invited to register their expression of interest for up to 2 members from their P&C (inclusive of any members nominated for recognition) to attend this event.
Registrations will be capped at 100 attendees and will be accepted in order of the date they are submitted. Please be aware that submitting a registration form does not confirm your attendance at this event. P&Cs Qld will contact all members to confirm their attendance and supply further event details.
