P&Cs Qld congratulates Dianne Loddon on her award of a Medal (OAM) in the General Division in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for “service to education, and to the community”. Di (pictured with Director-General of Education Jim Watterston) was a QCPCA Board Director for many years, until retiring from that position in 2016. Dianne and her family enjoy a strong standing in the state education community and a long history with P&Cs. She has been P&C President at Robina SHS for 17 years and has represented P&Cs Qld on Principal Selection Panels, Showcase Board and as Australian Council of State School Organisations Queensland Vice-President. She is a QCPCA State and Area Life Member and was involved with QCPCA’s South Coast Region for many years as, at various times, President, Secretary and Vice-President of the Region as well as State Executive Member. Dianne has two children (one a Business Services Manager in a special school and the other in the Department of Children’s Services) and five grandchildren. Dianne has been a Community Liaison Officer for 18 years at Robina State High School on the Gold Coast, and is nicknamed “Nana” by students at the school.
